finding maximum number in excel sheet

    it is maximum fuction which is used to calculate maximum value from given spreadsheet

    the formula is =max(PUT RANGE HERE)

    This should give you the maximum value in the selected range

    The AutoMAX function is a shortcut to using Excel's MAX function. It provides a quick way to find the largest number in a list of data in aspreadsheet.
    The syntax for AutoMAX is the same as the MAX function.
    = MAX ( Number1, Number2, ... Number255 )
    Up to 255 numbers can be entered into the function.

    We usually highlight the max value in a workbook with the help of "Conditional Formatting".
    Drop Down -> Manage Rules [down] -> New Rule -> Top or Bottom type, format cell: select colour [for highlighting the cell including the max value] and OK.
    MIN MAX returns value into a cell, this solution highlights the cell containing the value

    We use MAX ( Number1, Number2, ... Number255 ) to find max number in excel sheet
