Facebook adds a remote logout feature

    So if you find someone's snooping around in your account, you can cut them off quickly.

    FB have a login notification feature, as mentioned in the article, which would help here.

    While I have it enabled, I can't comment on how effective it is as it has never been called into use (due to it not being triggered rather than it missing intrusion attempts).

    Because you would see them being logged in from somewhere other than your own usual ISP ranges. It's mainly to help you spot hackers. If you live in the US and see someone's been logged in from China, that would tip you off.
