Ethical hacking

    Do you agree with ethical hacking? The problem for ethical hacking is that, no one defines what 'ethical' is. I read a news article about a Brazilian group that hacked a lot of Indian websites and brandished the nation as 'cyber weak'. In response, an Indian hacker group hacked a slew of Brazilian governmental sites and declared a cyber war, telling them "if war is what you want, that is what we give!"

    Was that ethical? I guess the answer varies! Your views?

    In my view ethical hacking is when you test IT security with the owner's permission. Permission is the key element.
