I don't have faith in any of those value estimators and I most certainly hope that Business Advice Forum is worth significantly more than $260 :)

The value of a site or domain is what someone is willing to pay for it, not what some automated script estimates its value to be.

Well, that's why I put in my description as "a site that gives estimates, not the actual price". :D

This already has been discussed about those site's. The site providing such states never provide an accurate estimate. The site which makes an estimate always just check the states like Alexa rank and page rank, they not at all check the quality of the site and what the site is all about.

Try valuate.com and see the difference.

If your site earns money, no matter what domain it's on or the product or services, its always worth something. If the demand is there and it has great potential which shows in the monthly revenues, then perhaps you can ask up to 36 months or higher.

It's not working for me, the "Appraise" button is not clickable?

Old post to quote but this is so true.

Although i do enjoy using those kind of websites just to see what they do say, it's just a bit of fun, nothing you should ever take seriously.

Thanks sahaya, it seems to be working now. It tells me that Business Advice Forum is worth $106.11, I'd like to think we are worth a little bit more than that :)

That's happening for me also, how did you fix it?

Seems re opening and pressing enter instead of the appraise button worked.
Well GamerCafe is apparently worth 14 cents, haha.

I wouldn't worry about it GekiDan, it is obviously way off the mark. It says Google is worth $161,657,574.14 and FaceBook $129,569,039.00, now obviously that's a huge amount of money but those two sites are worth significantly more than that.

I'm afraid it's not accurate at all Sigma, it says that Google is worth $107 Million, when in fact it's worth many multiples of that.

    That forum had 3k posts.

Estibot is a nice site to have some fun on. I don't pay attention to the estimated value of the website but I like seeing everything else.
