I use eBay from 2007. Had no problems with them. They always try to help with the problems that people face. Also, a smart fee system. But first of all are you going to buy or sell things?

You could try selling on both of them. Then analyse the results you get to determine which works best for your particular business or product offer.

I think ebay is more friendly and attractive than craiglist. But craiglist is still very usefull in building links. :)

I like both, and for different reasons. I have been an active ebayer for years and absolutely LOVE it.

Right now I'm a huge fan of eBay. There's just more that you can find and for reasonable prices. It's more legitimate than CraigsList since CraigsList doesn't really monitor the listings.

    Hi,

No doubt for Ebay. But Craiglist is also better source for genuine customers.

I think it depends on where you are. When I lived on the west coast (US) craigslist was great, people would contact me and we'd complete the transaction. I have since moved to the center of the states and I'd say 80% of the transactions end up not occurring because the people flake out (they either don't show up, or they want to renegotiate the terms).

If you want to close the deal, without any hassle, Ebay is the way to go. Another great thing about Ebay is you post it and let it go til it sells. With craigslist you have to keep updating your listing because of an overwhelming number of people that post their stuff on there too.

I don't really trust either of them. I would rather pay a small fee, and use a more trusted site like Amazon. However, I know a lot people use eBay extensively, it's just not my favorite.

For some reason craigslist seems like a scam to me by the looks of it. Ebay is definitely more user-friendly than the other.

Ebay is better because its paid :) i think you got my point. Craigslist is pretty non-fruitful.

I prefer Craigslist. Free to register and more like a local online business. I got my first care from Craigslist.

Both can actually be helpful - depending on the needs and goals of someone wanting to earn from them. If you use eBay and more confident in using it, you would surely prefer using it than craiglist with the fact that it brings you the revenue you want. And same goes with craiglist.

Probably ebay. I have tried both and still waiting to see if anyone contacts me. God luck!

No doubt ebay.com is the best way for selling your products.

    I prefer ebay.
The UI of Craigslist is terrible, also there are many spams on it.
I think Craigslist will develop a module based on Google Map or OpenStreetMap soon.

Ebay. I feel that it is safer to use.
