IM solutions are a great addition to any business. We currently use Slack to communicate with different members of the team, especially since we have a lot of employees overseas. Compared to emailing and video calls, instant messaging is more convenient and straight to the point. What I like about it is we can create different teams, has direct messaging and tagging features.

We use Olark and Facebook messager for communicating with customers. Slack or Skype for internal communications.

When I started working for my first employer, we had a big office and the most common instant messaging software was Jabber. So all of our PC's had this app installed and the whole database of employees were added there.
Nowadays, I would prefer to use Telegram in my own business, as it's very reliable software

Yeah! Telegram is great. i like that it has an encryption option to protect confidential or proprietary information.

Same here. I find it very convenient to use, easily customizable, and files, images, screenshots can easily be shared with the team. I've also used Skype and Whatsapp for personal conversations with family and friends.

Another vote for Skype for Business here. I use it for IM, phonecalls, video calls and, my favorite, screen sharing and white boarding. For me, its strength is the brand recognition of Skype so (a) most of my clients or prospects have it too, making communication a cinch and (b) if they don't, they're comfortable enough installing it and using it as they know the program.

It would be hard to go past WordPress, simply because it is incredibly easy to use, looks great, and has a solid support group. But you may well find that WP isn't the best for you. If you'll read this summary, you can compare 5 of the most popular CMS systems, and then have a better understanding of what it is you're after :)

Hey, Paul! We are using slack at the moment. I suggest for you to use a chat software because it does help resolve questions and concern faster between peers about a project or task. Like us we have departments situated on different floors of a building, it would be faster to just chat rather than walk up to them.
