Does a UK ltd. company selling online in Romania need to be registered there as well?

    Hi everyone,

I've just registered a ltd. company in the UK with the intent of selling products via an online e-commerce web site strictly into Romania.

The registered office is in the UK, however, we will have a bank account in Romania and one over here.

Our customers, in Romania, will pay either via card or sms to enter an auction. At the end of the auction, if successful, they will receive a product.

Considering that I will have no physical presence in Romania, do I still need to register an office there as well? Would this mean I would get taxed twice?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Welcome to Business Advice Forum andreigoea, thanks for joining. Sorry but I don't know the answer to your question, however the Romanian Embassy in the UK might be able to help you or at least point you in the right direction.
