So is this true for you? Do you think writing down your thoughts helps sort out your mind? What do you think??

I have started writing a diary at a few different times in my life, but never kept it up. A lot of people advise that it is very helpful thing to do, because it gives you time to reflect on what you are doing, every day. When I tried it, I did enjoy it but somehow it just seems to fall by the wayside and I stop doing it.

What about you Kalaborative, do you keep a journal and do you find it beneficial?

I have also tried diaries, but its a chore by itself to keep carrying forward the pending or incomplete tasks. I have tried a few different things which seem to start off okay, but then... yes, it just slides away after a few weeks.

Whats really working for me at the moment is keeping a notice board next to my desk, and I have 3 pieces of sticky notes pinned on the notice board:

    1. My daily time table
    2. My Goals for the week
    3. My daily To-Do List

Ah, this has been working like a charm, each time I get distracted or I dont know what to do next I just look at my notice board next to me... I am instantly reminded of my goal and what tasks I still need to complete for the day.... OH Yes!!! Visiting BAF is on my task list :D

In a word, yes. A reflective learning journal is a great way to record ideas and develop skills. I have to admit, it is easy to get out of the habit and I confess that I am an intermittent user, but the value is still immense. M.

Do you just write about what happened in your day, or do you also write about ways you could have done things differently?
