As per my personal view, inbound links are the URLs leading back to a webpage from an external source. The urls should include the main page of a business and the internal pages for optimal effect. On the other hand, Outbound links point to another website outside the main URL.

The links giving backlinks to you are known as inbound links and the links getting backlinks from your site are known as Outbound links.

In short: Inbound links - Links Coming to your website
Outbound links - Links going from your site

Inbound link is a hyperlink transiting domains. Links are inbound from the perspective of the link target, and conversely, outbound from the perspective of the originator. Outbound links are links from your site pointing to other site. A different way to say inbound links is backlinks and a different way to say outbound links is internal links.

Inbound and Outbound links are not rocket science but are simple links wherein
-Links that take you(Direct) out of an existing page(your page) on which they are placed to a different page or third party page are called outbound ones.Going out to third party page..
-Links that take you(Direct) to your page from a third party page or different page are called inbound ones... Coming in to your page..

That question has been answered by Google more than a thousand times. You just have to type your query in Google.
