First, you are looking for "Tag", not "Taq". "taq" was a character in an old Sci-fi TV series. It, or he, has nothing to do with SEO.
With that in mind, an Image Tag is HTML code that describes the attributes of an image, and is written like this:

    < img src="imagesource.jpg" alt="Description of image" Title="Longer Description of image" height="47" width="47">

SRC is the source of the image, and can be a file uploaded to the hosting company's server, or can be a webpage on services like Dropbox or SkyDrive.

ALT is a short description of the image, and is displayed when the image itself is not, or cannot, be displayed. Like anything else on your website, this is provided primarily for visitors. For the search engines, since they cannot see images, it provides text for the bots to read. For example, if you have a camera store, this can be used for the model number and description of a camera, for example, "Canon Dx-90 Digital Camera".

Title is a short, more detailed description of an image, adding additional information. To continue the example cited above, the title can be a model number for a camera, followed by where it can be purchased. It would be written like this: "Canon DX-90 Digital Camera, available at our camera store or online". For the search engines, it provides the words "camera store" and "online" for them to read, if the owner of the site is pursuing the keyword "camera store online".

Height and Width provide the size of the image in pixels.

ALT tags provide a text alternative to an image. They are a way to "describe" an image to those who can not see the image. The most important function of an ALT tag is to explain to a blind user what an image is displaying. Search engine crawlers also use ALT tags to decipher what an image is or what it is representing.

Are crawlers still use alt tags for image definitions?
