I was curious to see what other people are thinking about my current theme I have for my blog. Does it seem user friendly? Is it easy on the eyes per say? I understand there's not a lot up on it yet, but I'm not fully planning on working on it on a regular basis until I have certain things like the design just right.

Thanks for any input and advice.

To be honest, I don't really like that theme.
Maybe because it looks too empty and the header is quite too tall.
What do you plan to put on those blank sidebars?

Yeah, I mean it will all fill up more once I get my logo, and more content under its belt. The side bars I plan on putting 125x125 ads, Recent Comments, Popular posts, etc.

The theme looks OK, it's success will really depend on how you customise it for your own site. As GekiDan suggested it is difficult to review it at this time, due to the fact that it is unfinished. The main content area of the site is only using up about half of the horizontal space available to it, is there a reason for that?

It's not good for a movie review blog.
You need something darker, but it's just my opinion :).
    Good luck.

If I'm understanding you correctly then the more posts I have, the more that horizontal space will be taken up. I can also adjust the amount of posts to be shown on the main page.

Thank you all for the suggestions as of so far.

Now that you have added a second post, I can see how that works. There is very little content from each post on the home page. I'm not sure that I like that to be honest. When I visit a blog, I like to be able to read content on the home page, i.e. to glance through the posts without having to click on each one individually.

The theme is OK. It's light and easy on the eyes, but it's not really customized to your own website. Add something to it, or change it about to make your website stand out to others that have the same theme.
