Is anyone else taking the course in basic computer languages?

It involves getting an email once a week with a simple task to learn code one step at a time.

Love it so far, it's making things very easy to learn.

I completed their first online lesson which was an introduction to JavaScript. I found it very user-friendly and informative. http://www.codecademy.com is well worth a look for anyone who wants to start learning programming.

What languages have you been learning there JPM?

W3schools is another best place for learning webcoding. Just clear concepts on basic things like variables, functions, looping. This needs to bit study after Then how to polish your coding is just by practice.

It is a great concept, I think this has just started out since it contains only one course i.e JavaScript. I am looking forward to some cool server side scripting courses from them.

It's a really good site Fergal. It teaches beginners from the most basic form of programming JavaScript. Thanks for sharing! (I was having fun coding...)
