characters in domain name

    How many characters we can use maximum while registering a domain and which is the best approach for Search engine point of view?

    you use maximum 67 charector in to you your website. if want good domain then you create shorter.

    You use only 60 character in your website.According to seo 40 character max. You use only short tail url if u want great domain.

    we should not use number, . , _, in domain name

    Is ", . , _," supposed to be a number? In any case, you apparently misunderstood the question. The OP wants to know the number of characters allowed in a domain name, not whether numbers can be used in a domain name. Also, why do you believe that numbers cannot be used in a domain name? I've seen several domain names with numbers in them.

    I don't really know the maximum numbers of characters when you are registering a domain. But keeping it short and can easily be remembered as a brand or name would be great.
