Case study on getting your first 1K subscribers

    And it's all done through the power of guest blogging. (I have great respect for the Copyblogger site and the author of this video is the Associate Editor there.)

    Anyone have tales to tell of their own experience with guest blogging? Would you be interested in pursuing this avenue yourself? Jon Morrow makes a very convincing case for doing so. :)

    Good video and I believe that it is an approach that could work for many website owners, not just bloggers. I like the way he suggests that you start off by making quality comments on your target blog. That way the blogger is more likely to notice you and accept your offer to make a guest post, or even invite you to make the post.

    I liked that too Fergal and was surprised to hear that these top bloggers really do take the time to read every comment and/or respond to them. I guess that's one tactic for developing a loyal following that some just do naturally anyway, big or small.
