Can we use links in our content? How many links should we use in our content? If we use too many links in our web pages then can it be a problem in SEO results?

Yes you can, just make use of at least 1-2 links on the content, and make it look like a natural link, what I mean is don't just use of your target keyword, make some anchor text diversions.

2 hyperlinks in one article. More links Google doesn't like.

Yes, you can! 1-2 is good to insert in your content. As they say use that link in a relevant way. I mean, if your keyword is affiliate marketing, then use your link about affiliate marketing also. :) It's good to use Wikipedia and your root domain. :)

Yes you can post the links in your content. Try posting 3 maximum links in your content.

Yes you can use links in your content. But just use 2-3 links based on content quantity. If your use too many links, Google consider it as a spam.

Naturally link to a few sites, not just to one site.

I would not recommend linking to another site from your webpage, unless your site is a blog, and you are writing a blog post. If you are doing internal linking, you can link to pages within your site. Springsnow has a point, though. Don't put too many links to other pages in your content, just a few.
