    Bounce rate tracking of Competitors

    Hi there

    Is there any free tool to track Competitors Bounce Rate? Do bounce rate also play important role in higher SERP?

    you can use Google Analytics

    Yes, analytics is the free tool to track user bounce rate, if you have serious concern bounce rate, you may consider subscribe web trend. Search engine does not use bounce rate as metrics, as not all site owner use analytics code and tracking tool.

    But Search engine can track how long a user stay in with the search result, return to search and make a new query. From there, search engine can make judge on SERP ranking.

    Yes check on Alexa.com for checking your competitor bounce rate. This is simple and hope fully you know as well.

    Analytics from Google is free. I dont use it though as I dont want Big G to have their thumb on top of my biz. Just my thought. Use plugins for wordpress if your site is WP that help page speed, which will lower the bounce rate and help rankings

    As far as I know, Google Analytics can't track your competitors because it's impossible to add the "Google track code" into a site which is owned by others.
