A few years ago I set up a games blog (http://casinosites.blogspot.com) to publish articles on. Mostly the articles are around casino gaming and roulette, but the intention was really to try and build a small following and then use the links to send traffic to my main site.

After 4 years, including posting fairly regularly (with a few breaks), google still hasn’t indexed my site! What am I doing wrong? Why wouldn’t Google index it.

I’ve even tried some social networking links but to no avail. What can I do and why is Google not indexing it?

    Thanks.

I think your blog is Penalized ( Because its 4 years ) By Google

When You started the blog ( first 6 mounts to 1 year )

1>Did you do any copy past stuff

2>Did You Hidden Text or Hidden Links

    3>Did You use Excessive Keywords

4>Did You do Automated Redirects or Doorway Pages

5>Did You Linking To Banned Sites

6>Did You do Black Hat Seo or Spam

7>Did You Violate Google Webmaster Guidelines

8>Did You do Link Building Campaigns

If You Think Your Blog Is Penalized

    then

Request Reconsideration To Remove Google Penalty

Well done Chrisdina, that's very interesting. When checking if a site is indexed in Google, I've generally searched for the site domain only and had a look to see if it was coming up in the first results. Using the "site:" is the more correct approach. Thanks for that.

Yeah, I also just tried that and saw that site is indexed. If any of your site is not indexed till now then you can try submitting your site in search engine, for Google click here.

Thanks! I was using the Google toolbar cached results.

I didnt realise that wasnt a reliable way? So it seems it is indexed yet not cached. Has anyone seen that situation before?

Maybe you have lacked some content and SEO when you try to search it on Google using your keywords.
Mine new domain for my blog haven't been indexed yet but my sitemap is already accepted. I'll just wait for Google to crawl it.
