What should be the quantity of blog commenting per day, so as to get high traffic and SEO?
After recent updates to Google's algorithms, and later update of the updates, "Quality" is now more important than "Quantity". Even then, there is no set quantity that will move your website up the rankings, nor is there one factor that will do so. Rather than concentrating on a specific number of blog comments, you should be getting quality links from a variety of methods, and a variety of website types
Yeah, blog commenting is not such an effective way for SEO and website traffic. The most important point for SEO and your website is creating high quality content and establishing high quality back links. There are some other ways to get high quality back links, such as guest blogging, directory submission, social bookmarking. But before your start, you need to select the sites with high quality and most relevant to your sites. Quality is more important than quantity, as joeroxx said.
All is subjective. You can't barely say one way is good against another. Blog commenting helps in SEO unless you are doing spamming with it. Same concept goes to other link building methods.
As for the OP, you need to have a conversation with other bloggers or with the blog owners through blog commenting. In this way, you will have such opportunities to get backlinks from them as well as targeted traffic. Again, I am saying conversation not just a simple link drop.
You don't need quantity. Getting a link from a highly shared blog post will be good for you.
You mainly post quality content blog commenting sites not quantity. No they not use to high traffic they use only for quality backlinks.
Yes of course! Blog commenting will bring more no of traffic to your website. If the comment was found to be error free, spam free and compelling in the sense then it surely brings expected results. Blog commenting should add value to that blog.
There is very rare chance to approved your comments on blog sites but if you write genuine and some useful information then you have chance to approve your comments and it help to getting back links if the link is do follow other wise it will help only for get traffic to site.
Blog commenting is one of the way to get links from other blog sites. If you post comment with do follow links. it's may chances to search engine crawl your website. I would say blog commenting not benefit for back link. Because of in these days many people are doing and post comments on bloggers sites. They are aware to spam there comments using some plugins.
Dont look at number of comments or number of blogs
Rather look at blogs - wherein you are adding value to blog and also going to get inbound traffic flow to your site
Why do you waste your time commenting on blogs? Do you get traffic from the comments you leave? It's a slavery for SEO. Are you sure you're getting a benefit from it ? Why not spend the same time and efforts for social media marketing instead?
If you comment on do follow blog post then you get beneficial for website. Other thing is that blog post must be related to your theme.
Due to spam fighting, blog comments for SEO are almost dead. Few month ago I saw the similar question on BAF, and I create this article.
When blog commenting is used as part of a well- structures SEO strategy it can be a very cost efficient and effective way to do a number of things that contribute to optimization of a site in search results, including the following.
Build quality links to your money website.
Drive traffic to online assets
Network online with target audiences.
Market your brand on the internet
Add valuable points in your blogs and keywords which help to open your blog while SEO.This will increase traffic on your blog..
The most obvious is that the search engines read the links in your comment (normally your name hyperlinked to your website) and you build your link popularity directly from the comments. However, most blogs are Nofollow. which at least in theory means that they carry no link value. But there are also a fair number of Dofollow blogs. and some give you a hyperlink both name and at the end of the comment to your most recent blog post.
That's true. If your comment is really valuable, blog visitors will click on your name or link to check who you are and look for some more interesting information. As it leads new visitors to your personal blog or web site, it means that it's good for Search Engine Optimization.
Can you be a little more specific about the correlation, if any, between increasing visitors and SEO. How exactly does increased traffic to your website help increase the ranking of your website? Is it a direct or indirect correlation?
Actually it means that if links to your site are active, it'll improve your SEO and accordingly the amount of traffic on your website.
To the point made by joeroxx, how does the fact that links to your site are clicked on improve your SEO? By definition, it increases your referral traffic, which is good of course, but I don't see how it affects your SEO.
I agree blog comment backlinks are not as powerful as they used to be in terms of improving your serps. However, like the others have said, if you provide something interesting, useful or helpful in your blog comment and it is related to the article not just the niche or the website you are on in general then yes blog commenting is certainly going to bring you in some curious visitors. The reason why it's all about the high quality content is because Google is working towards favouring the hard working and the creative not the copycats and the lazy.
What I do for when I want to guest post on high quality sites is to search for relevant blogs then use audit tools and alexa to check if their website is worthy of my backlink. Most sites you will come across aren't and be wary of those who are asking for guest posts.
