    Hey everyone,

So basically I have plenty of money I'm willing to put into AdminCentral and GamerCafe and I want the bAF communities opinion on what I can do to go the most out of it to better my communities. I have done some paid posting to help build some content, only paying for quality posts of course and I have tried out postloop but I think I would spend to much money there if I kept going.

Thanks for any ideas/suggestions you can provide,

    Karoshio.

First at all is the content creation, and then you might consider to buy some advertisement, maybe you can consider high traffic game site or game forum, pay them for monthly banner. After that, you might also consider to work out on social media optimization such as article submission and work on some seo activity to boost your SERP

You could spend some of it as prizes for good contests for your members.

I was thinking of doing some more contests, unsure what though. Possibly to win a .com / .net or win a lifetime hosting plan. If anyone has contest suggestions that would also be great.

At the beginning stage, referral contests or member of month is good to implement. However, gotta take care of the spammer

I always found referral contests hard to get off the ground to be honest. Contests is a good thing to spend some cash on, as is advertising and link building.

I was thinking maybe a month long referal contest and referal only count if they do say 5 or 10 good posts. I'm unsure how that would go. Prize could be based on how many total referals/participants in it.

It will be better to make it 30 posts to counted as referrals. The prize is up to you as long as the it is attractive.
Based on total referrals might be a good idea

To go along with the referral contest, put a prize on the "Member of the Month/Week" to push your members into contributing more your forum.

I had been thinking of having a Member of The Month or something. I could offer different prizes each time. Domains 'n' such.

That's good enough. Game niche is easy niche to gain traffic, you might consider to buy some ads space from those high traffic forum and work out on social media to promote your forum
