    Hi All,

Been doing a lot of tweaking lately to figure out what color gives more conversions to a website.

What are your thoughts on this?

I've found that Red or a colour that is essentially the polar opposite of your sites colours seem to work best for me. ( So far )

I also found this article that mentioned red being a good one. Have you had any experience here?
    - Not my blog, but seemed good.

I personally would find myself clicking the green button more often. Most people know that red means bad and green= good. So when there is a red button someone may be thinking something bad is involved, while if it's green ti's something good. Either colors will pop out to the user. What color you use would depend on what kind of colors your website it is.

I think the green one would fit your suit better.

I would go with green. Most of those CTA buttons are green and for a reason. It is a very inviting colour and makes you go ahead.

This is what I always thought.
Yet I have seen an increase in conversions since changing to red.

Talking to others since, It also appears that it does have a positive effect also.

It is strange as yes, i would always thing RED = BAD! but I suppose that is only subjective to certain cultures.
Even in said cultures, red doesn't seem to faze come people.

( I'm not trying to end the conversation, simply helping create some discussion. I highly doubt we can answer this as this is indeed an ongoing question over many years from SEO / Designers and most likely wont ever be solved lol. )

Interesting question. Unfortunately I don't have a definitive answer. However, Amazon use a yellow / mustard colour and eBay a blue colour. Those two companies would definitely know the best colours to get visitors to click "Buy It Now" buttons.

I think color is not what is that about, it more about button image that makes some sense and how it integrated with web page color theme, that true that big red some 200x100 pixels button will acquire more clicks, but I'm not sure it will fit your design patterns

Majority prefer blue button, so I vote for it.
