Are there any other websites out there who pay you per article?

You may also want to look into Suite101 if you have an area of expertise, RestOwner. They have been advertising for new contributors in recent months. I believe their payment scale is dependent upon how many page views your articles generate and how well you're capable of incorporating SEO into them. They make no guarantees on earnings although do state some top writers make $1000/month, while others make $30/month. They also supply various tools to help you make the most of your articles.

While it's not a set payment per article per say, your articles do keep on earning for you once they're up. Something to think about anyway. I don't know any writer that doesn't have some old articles that they never got around to using gathering dust. If you have a bunch of them on a similar theme, this could be a way to earn from them. See the Approach section under Apply to be a Writer to learn more.

Another one to consider is DemandStudios. They state they pay "between $5 to $25 or more, depending on the length and subject of the article, with the average writer earning $20 per hour."

    Hope that helps!
