Google's algorithm updates relegated autoblogs to where they belong — the last page of SERPs. And any such blogs that were positively identified as autoblogs were deindexed. Never again would the search engine return them in the SERPs. But that doesn't mean autoblogs are practically useless.

There is a way that one can still make a little money using autoblogs.

    How to do it:

Create 20 or 30 autoblogs either on Blogger or Wordpress. On a bad day two or three visitors will land on these sites. On good days the number could be a little higher. Have a banner at the top of the blog page which points back to you real blog, site or forum. Siphon off some traffic from your autoblogs. Hopefully your blog will be interesting enough to get these visitors to come back.

Isn't it traffic you seek? Does it matter how you get it?

If it is traffic that you seek, and you don't care about the quality of the traffic, or the rankings of your blog, forum, or website go for it. But if you do care about the quality of your traffic, and the ranking of your website, this is not a good idea. Here's why.

The first statement in Redd's post says:

    But, he then says this:

This is a classic case of the left hand not knowing - or caring - what the left hand is doing. What you have now done is created low-quality websites with the intention of creating low-quality links to your website. This will not help your rankings, will probably hurt your rankings, and will not bring you traffic that is actually interested in your blog. In fact, few people actually click on banners anymore, so it may not bring you any traffic at all.

Well, if you do such a thing using the WordPress free hosting solution, chances are to get all those blogs banned in no time.

Blogger or your own self-hosted WordPress is still okay to drive traffic, and even to add some advertising for a random passive revenue.

However auto-blogging has lost relevance and blogs are always subject to be penalized due to duplicate content.

I think auto blogging is dead because of the latest google update it will only work if you are promoting it on social sites but on search engine it will not rank

I haven't tried autoblogging yet, but yeah, although we seek traffic, we must also consider the quality of the content we are posting on our websites. If our blog posts don't even spark any interest from the readers/audience, how can we be sure that they'll come back again?
