Has anyone every tried selling their business and then wasn't successful? The owners of Vanity Car Wash & Ice Cream experienced that. Then they decided to give it a way through a drawing by pre-purchasing $100 worth of products and services. Has anyone else ever done that? Were you successful? What do you think the best stategy would be to produce hard sales. They are getting an average of 30 hits per day to their website, but no sales. Website is www keystoyourbusiness com. This is mostly driven throught the tv commercials they purchased.

What are your first impression of someone who said they bought a key to win an Ice Cream Store & Car Wash? This is a legitamite chance and opportunity. But trying to get a weigh in of public opinion to get past the hurdles to sell more keys.

maxacer please be careful with posting duplicate threads, you don't need to ask the same question in different sections of the forum.

Have you asked yourself what kind of people would be interested in winning a business like that?

    • Are they young or old?
    • Are they living close to the business?
    • What media do they read or listen to?

If you know who your target audience are, it will be much easier to place your ads where they will see them and to include an advertising message that will appeal to them.
