Have you ever noticed the Alexa rank of google? Google has Alexa rank 1 and Facebook has only 2 Alexa rank. What does it mean? Alexa rank should be less or higher? I am confused please tell me if you know about it.

It should be less. The page having less Alexa rank is the better.

Less is good. But do not get carried by Alexa rank. It can be VERY easily manipulated.
Install the alexa toolbar on your browser. The more your visit your site, the lower your Alexa ranking gets.

Indeed, the lesser the Alexa rank is the better. At first I thought its the other way around but after doing some research, it was the lesser that matters. :)

This means that Google is the most visited website in the world. And Facebook is the second most visited website in the world.
    Its that simple.
Google gives alexa ranking on the basis of your PR ranking and on the amount of clicks everyday, and on the number of visitors. Since Google has the most visitors in the world, then that means that Google is number 1. And Google has been in the market for a very long time, where as Facebook came after a very long time, so Google is superior than Facebook.

The more traffic a site gets, the less its Alexa rank becomes.
