About Call Centers

    Does anyone here have any experience with using a call center for their business? I'd like some input on this, whether you have or haven't.

    Silmeria I've worked with an international outsourcing call centre provider in Ireland and the UK for five years. I haven't actually worked in the client side or outsourced call centre work, however I do have a lot of experience in the industry. Were you looking for some suggestions relating to outsourcing call centre work?

    Actually, I was more concerned with a personal/client-based call center, not outsourcing. I wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with them and what your take is on using one.

    Was it a justifiable cost? Did it help increase profit? How was their customer care? And so on.

    Silmeria what country are you based in? What type of services are you looking for from a call centre, e.g. are you looking for outbound telemarketing / sales services or do you want someone to handle customer service calls on your behalf?

    It all depends what you want to achieve. For example a center which provides customer support can also generate income by up selling, cross selling and providing information on products which clients may not be aware of.
