How to find Error 404 Not Found ?
You can use different online sources for that, such as 404checker.com or www.brokenlinkcheck.com providing the website you want to find the missing/broken pages.
Thanks for the link Gisele, It works like charm. I find it helpful for myself too.
The 404 or Not Found error message is a HTTP standard response code indicating that you are attempting to open a broken link or dead link which you have requested.

Assuming you mean on your own site then personally I use Google's webmaster tools. It not only tells you which pages Google has in the index that return 404-errors but also tells you which pages link to it. Then, if there are external pages linking in you can either get the link changed to an existing page or 301-redirect to the correct page.
You can get 404 Errors from Webmasters Tool for any website. If you have created Google Webmasters Tool for your Site, then you can get 404 Errors regularly.
