    1. Add a Highlight

If it looks good, add a highlight to some of your graphics. By highlights, I mean like a shiny spot. Preferably a bit more then half way. An example of a highlight is : http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/2492/maintitlefornewskin.png Do you see the shine? that's what I'm talking about.

    2. A professional banner.

A professional banner can park customers who are on your site. a good professional banner stating your logo and slogan is good. make sure it matches your theme. An example of a good banner is: http://img691.imageshack.us/img691/9665/kaybanner.png Notice how it states the name of the site and the slogan.

    3. Have Small Banners Around

Having small banners around the site, say a blog to represent an article is useful. If you own a graphics site and have a link to a tutorial, It might be good to crop out a small piece from the end result.

These are only three tips but I hope it helps.

    Thanks are very much appreciated.

1.Clean Layout Design: A clean layout that uses a lot of white space enhances a site's looks. Try to keep the focus on your content.
2.Program using pure CSS: The world is moving away from table based websites to pure CSS websites because it offers accessibility, re usability and considerably reduces file size apart from giving greater control over the look of your website. The single most important skill you can learn today to become a quality web designer is CSS programming!
3.Optimum Load Time: Make sure your load time is low.

That would depend a lot on the site niche. For example a medical site would most probably use a different colour scheme than a web hosting site.

A sites look is enhanced with a clean layout design that uses a lot of white space. The focus should be kept on the content, always.

Try to create clean layout design and concentrate on the content. Use CSS for programming. You need to also check the optimum load time.

Nothing is more annoying to readers than waiting for a 200k graphic to load when it should be only 20k instead.Graphics software can compress files so they take up less room on your disk, and therefore take less time to load into your visitors' browsers. Get some graphics software and shrink those file sizes
