I thought I’d share ten simple and easy ways to tell your employees “thank you.” Telling an employee “thank you” is one of the simplest and most powerful ways to build trust, yet it doesn’t happen near enough in the workplace.

Whenever I conduct trust workshops with clients and discuss the role that rewards and recognition play in building trust, I will ask participants to raise their hands if they feel like they receive too much praise or recognition on the job. No one has ever raised a hand.

So on this day of giving thanks, take a few minutes to review this list and commit to using one of these methods to tell your employees “thank you.” I’ve used many of these strategies myself and can attest to their effectiveness..........read full at Blanchard International's website.

Well Thank you is a powerful word to increase self motivation level in an employee. I believe they need to be remunerated as well to feel important part of the organization, where their liking's or disliking's gets heard by the management team.

Thanking the others always brings happiness in the life of you and others. It does not matter that you are boss and the man front of you is your employee.

I think money and encouragement with bonus in the salary that make them happy. Today employees wants that they work hard given good results so their salary increase after a regular time interval.

Aside from salary increase or bonus rewards, I think the best way for you to show them that you appreciate their hard work is when you treat them fair and right. Never belittle or say bad words to them because that would make them really hate you. A simple "thank you" from their boss could actually make their day already.

As an employed worker for almost a year is more difficult than what others expected, but increasing our salary and giving bonus will make us happy.

Bonuses and rewards, of course. But we can communicate appreciation by these non-monetary practices:
    - Treat employees fair and right
    - Create and develop happy corporate culture and comfortable work environment
    - Give extra time off
    - Give ample face time
    - Give the right title for the job, consider advancement periodically and whenever they achieve excellent results
    - Give them control over their work (please avoid micromanaging style)

Increasing a salary will not help you to much. If they already get good salary then you need to improve other areas like making a competition in your employees by giving a extra bonus and award to top 10 or 100 employees.
