This is why I continue to use GoDaddy. Their domains are already some of the cheapest, but this can't really be beat. They also have almost instant setup and great support.

Personally I find GoDaddy to be extremely user-unfriendly in comparison to say Namecheap. Recently I have been moving my domains away from GoDaddy to Namecheap, because Namecheap is just so much easier to read and you don't have to look at sales messages every time you want to make a change to one of your domains.

Haha, I agree with Fergal on user "un" friendliness . GD is just dirt cheap and yeah we can always forward domains to other nameservers ;)

I used to use Godaddy when I first started in web development. I only used them at first, because that was the only register I knew at the time. As you said they are very user-unfriendly. I prefer to register with name.com now, because of there support and they have a DNS panel that is 10x easier to use. If I needed a cheap domain though I could get one for $0.99 at register.com with a sale they have going on (it appears to be an all year long sale).

Thanks Patrick, I've edited your post as requested.

I don't see that $0.99 offer on Register.com, do you have a direct link to it?

Ya, i'll send a link via PM. They seem to change their code and page every month or so. Got to learn how to google the right keywords to find it ;)

GoDaddy always has amazing prices, I'm thinking about purchasing a domain from them sometime in the near future.
