US Pres.Barack Obama officially announced that AL Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden is already died.
That's big news. Reports say that he was killed in a gun battle involving US Navy Seals and the CIA on the US side. The raid took place in Pakistan and the Pakistani government was not informed until after the raid was complete.
I wonder if there will be a strong terrorist reaction to this?
You can read more here on the BBC news site and here on The Telegraph.
Thanks for this Fergal, I will check this out.
Now that their leader is no more they must have lose their moral support. I believe these terrorist groups will now become weak. However, did they found the dead body of Osama?
Let's us wait for the aftereffects of the death. They say that there can be lots of attacks because of the killing.
The US government say that he has been buried at sea, something suspect about that in my opinion.
Yes, they are really stepping up security in airports like New York and LA because they are afraid they may try and bomb some of our flights. He was buried at sea so that people wouldn't be going to where he is and stuff.
I wonder why they buried him so quickly! There is some debate now as to whether or not they will release photos of his dead body. I'm not sure what purpose releasing those photos would achieve. It won't really do anything to prove that they have killed him, because the photos would be so easy to fake. Plus releasing them could inflame tensions and increase the risk of some form of terrorist retaliation.
Now I'm wondering about the body of Osama Bin Laden,There is no video or pictures.
I want to Congratulate American Cops for this
And finally, after 10 long years, it happened and ended with a whimper I should say. Hes dead and we are proud for Obama. He did something that Mr Bush couldn’t do. I hope there is no secret information hiding behind it. Great news.
