We are pleased to announce that our blog system (powered by WordPress) is now live and free to use. Each blog post that the Forum Lair team make will be posted directly to our Blog Posts forum. While registering is disabled on our blog, all members are free to register at our forum and in-turn they can comment on each topic posted by our blog. Once your comment has been posted to the thread, it will then be visible on our main blog in the comments section.

Not only is this a great step up for the FL board, but it provides a great opportunity for our members to read some of our soon to be great articles and tutorials. As alway your feedback and suggestions are greatly appreciated and we would kindly ask you to make a new topic in our Support, Feedback & Suggestions forum.

John1 the blog looks really great and I'm very impressed with the way you have bridged it with the forum. I've replied to one of the forum topics and my post was immediately posted as a comment on the blog, good work.

Hello John1.
Since this is a blog is related to your forum, I noticed that the logo is quite different. Do you have any reason for that?
I also suggests you to add a link from your blog to the forum so that visitors can easily navigate from your blog to your forum and vice versa. I knew that there are links on latest threads but isn't it much better if you have a link to the index page?

The About page si still empty. You might want to put something in it.
Describe your blog's purpose and what it is all about. YOu can also add the names of your blogging team.

You might aswell remove the link widget on the sidebar since it's empty. You can add it back when you have something to put in it.

EDIT: Sorry, I thought this is the review section. Anyways, I'll just retain this as a suggestion.

Thank you very much for your feedback Fergal. It was a job getting the posts and users bridged.

GekiDan, the reason the main logo isn't on yet is because I haven't had time to get to Photoshop on my laptop, but rest assured as soon as I do, a new logo will be up.

The 'About Me' page is a work in progress. I believe in having a good about me page for our members to read and having said that, content won't be added to this page until it's well written.

A link to the forum will be added alongside when I add in the logo. As for the links tab on the right sidebox, I am leaving that visible as a way for members to know where I am putting paid links / affiliates.

Thank you GekiDan, it's always good to hear positive feedback. I have no changed the forum icons such as the new posts / no new posts icon, I must say it looks better for me.
