I am using skype since 2 year Its simple to use.
Haven't ever really needed an extra options Calling people internationally on Skype whether they have Skype or not has saved me a lot of money in my phone bills.

Skype has been useful afew times. In my case any situation that can be used other than your primary way of communication is recommended as you need every outlet to make contact. Skype helps alot, Business communication is key in any industry.

I use Skype every day, too. So does my family (especially Skype video).

My only son, daughter-in-law and their four kids live in the USA, and we speak by video calls most days.

I've also used the conference calling feature, including one very interesting call to over 100 people in Malaysia using cleverly-piggy-backed 5-way Skype calling.

(I do prefer using GoToWebinar for that type of situation, however.)
