I love getting up early. I feel so much more productive.

I've found I function better when I'm freshly rested, and as the day wears on, I tend to slow down.

I believe in Ben Franklin's principle of Early to bed, early to rise. Very wise words!

    Thanks for the post1

I think the most important benefit to getting up early is the health aspect. Humans are built to feed off of sunlight and are designed to wake up early and go to bed early. Those with a regular sleep schedule that begins early in the morning are documented to live longer and be in overall bettee health.

There are a variety of good points on this list as well, but I think the chemistry of how we are built is the best reason to rise early.

I'm not a morning person but I find working at an early morning is so much better because your mind is fresh, you can focus and since you have a lot more time, you can set your goals for the day. I can sleep well at night knowing that I've had a productive day.

Well I miss getting up early and doing exercise and eat breakfast. Nowadays, it's really hard to wake that early because my shift ends midnight and I go to sleep by 3am or 4am.

The first benefit, which is Time to Exercise is my favorite. It just has so much benefit related to it: it warms up your body into being active the whole day (thus increasing your chances for productivity), keeps you healthy, and most importantly, it is known that exercise or physical activity helps create "efficient sleep" (deeper and uninterrupted) - which everyone, after a long day of work, direly needs.

It might be, depending on your age. As a teenager, I need more sleep than that. But generally I try to wake up early, because it gives me time to think and wake up how I want to!

If you wake up early at 5 or 6 a.m., your body and mind will remain fresh throughout the day. You will also feel refreshed and energetic.
