Google+ hits 250 million total users

After a year of people urging Google to announce their user figures Google has finally announced to the public that they have surpassed the 250 million user mark. More than half of those users are active on Google Plus each month and more than half of those users sin into Google Plus every single day.

It's still a far cry from Facebook's 901 million users, 500 million active users each month and 526 million users who sign in every single day.

Google + has a lot of members. But I don't think people are as engaged with it as Facebook's users are.

I'm actually surprised that Google + has amassed that many users to be honest.

What would be an interesting statistic is to see how many of the 250m Google+ users have a Facebook account. There wouldn't be many Plus users without a FB account.

That's an interesting thought... i'd wager a bet you're right.

I was surprised when I saw those numbers, too. That is until I realized how much they force Google Plus on Gmail users. A lot of those accounts were probably on accident or because they just wanted to get rid of the Google Plus notifications/ads. I'm also sure that most of their users are Facebook users but I too would love to see an approximate number.

As G+ continues, I think it would be very feasible for them to reach what FB had ahiceved - and that is IF G+ stays competitive.

Google+ is a very good social media with many good features, it is the best place for SEO.
