Well some people like to acknowledge the add and simply just confuse if they have to refuse the people adding them. Although like I said before, be careful on who you add in Facebook. It can be a scam, advertiser, hacker or bad people who wants to take advantage of you.
You could be banned from adding to many people at once, or adding people you don't know (doesn't have any connections or mutual friends).
Check their profile. If they appear to be spammers, dont add them
Well my friend has more than two account of Facebook. One for his friends and one for his business partners to promote his business and for adds... To increase his sites...More of them doing work for his company.. And his getting too much profit of it...When was Facebook started no one know it's give too much platform to promote Ur business.. Now twitter is now also used for it..... So why not we take advantages?
Add them all and grow your network. You will find this highly useful specially if you are planning to get into internet marketing business. However, just don't forget to group them so they will not mixed up with your real circle of friends.
I think they only come for promotions and all so better you dont add them........
Dont wory about this just block them from your id.
Facebook is awesome! You can ignore it or you can add that person anyway.

Think of ways to delete.
Better check their profile posts,information and lots other stuffs for 1-2minutes so it will clearly tell you if it is bot like profile made just to add friends then you may ignore of block it.If everything seems fine and that person posts interest you then why not?new friends..... <3
