If you're not a programming guy, then an open source CMS would be the option for you. I feel wordpress is better, user friendly and is with advanced features.

Most of the latest technologies is from Google, Facebook, Apple and Microsoft, these are top companies. Follow project development and API code, then you can easily integrate it CMS or non CMS project.

The answer is cloud computing and virtualization, as Microsoft, Apple and Google are aggressive hiring these type of candidate. With youtube, you no longer need a complicated player to play those video, browser will do.

If you're not a developer but still want a powerful and flexible website, try using Wordpress.com. You can then graduate to Wordpress.org, the self-hosted option, once you understand the software, database and hosting environment if you wish.

Yup, if you're not an expert then you should try some of the great CMS open source software out there. A few good ones includes Joomla, Drupal and Wordpress. They're flexible, easy to develop and have a very user-friendly admin panel.

This. All three are PHP based, use a MySQL database and have large developer communities where you can find help.

mobile development would be the latest thing now. for a CMS, Wordpress would be the in thing now because most of the clients (based on my experience) love the fluidity and ease of wordpress, the most up-to-date version of wordpress is mobile browser ready.
