    How many meals a day do you have?

    How many times you eat during a normal ... every day life?
    are you the type of person who eats a bit and often?
    or rarely and too much?

    i usually have 3 and i'm the 2nd type of person (though it's not that healthy)

    8 am breakfast

    3pm lunch

    9pm a snack.

    I normally have breakfast about 8 AM, dinner about 1 PM and a light meal about 5 PM. I also snack on fruit, yoghurt and peanuts in between.

    Works for me, although sometimes I feel that I should have a little more energy.

    I normally eat 3 times a day. I dont like to eat in snacks time though.

    Breakfast: 6:30 AM
    Lunch: 12 PM
    Dinner: 6 AM..

    for three time in a day

    breakfast: 8:30 am
    lunch: 2:00 pm
    diner: 9:30 pm

    wow you all have fixed timings for meals ? I have 3-4 , whenever i feel hungry. I know thats not good but oh well..

    I normally have three meals a day but I eat tropical fruits in between: papaya, banana, apple guava, pineapple. I'm the junglekid...

    I recently gave up one of my best (and long lasting) habits: drinking a bottle of beer every day. Traded for water. Ugh!

    I don't see much wrong with that. Sounds pretty healthy to me.

    I eat a regular breakfast, a big size launch and sometimes a very small supper.

    well, first of all it has to be decided that how will you decide what constitutes the meal.......
    A meal is an instance of eating, specifically one that takes place at a specific time and includes specific, prepared foodstuffs.

    Meals

    * Breakfast
    * Elevenses
    * Brunch
    * Lunch
    * Afternoon tea
    * High tea
    * Dinner
    * Supper
    * Dessert

    So going by this definition I think sometimes during holiday, I take 5 or 6 from them , otherwise on a working day, I used to take 3 meals and some snacks in between the dinner & lunch...

    If it's me, I won't consider snacks as a meal. For myself, I eat 3 meal a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are times though that I miss one of these meals but since breakfast is the most important meal of the day, I do my best not to skip or miss it.

    If it's including snacks, then I guess the number would be more than 6 since I always eat when I'm hungry.

    i find lots of smaller meals throughout the day keep me going longer.
