Hard work can make up for a lack of leadership training, but more often than not, a key to a successful business is the ability to run a well-oiled machine from top to bottom. That means bringing in the right heads to manage employees, ensure a stable, productive environment and become active with any change requests. Leaders learn to co-exist with their employees in a way that's professional and courteous, but ultimately enough to where they still can distance their authority from the equation.
