They are truly excellent Dahlia84, thanks very much for that.
I hate asking, when you have been so generous but would you mind changing the second line of text on the third banner from "$20,000 worth prizes up for grab" to "$20,000 in prizes up for grabs"?
Thanks again!

i can promote baf.....through my blog http://realitybites.in/
but fergal can you provide me 125*125 image or banner so that i can past it in my blog...which is getting good result from search enginges
I definitely would not mind. It's just that I am not at home at the moment and I will get that fixed once I am back to home from my classes. I will try coming up with a 125*125 banner as well for realitybites.in It would not take more than 10 minutes Lolwould you mind changing the second line of text on the third banner from "$20,000 worth prizes up for grab" to "$20,000 in prizes up for grabs"
I am just wondering, would you be interested in a Typographic Logo for this forum? I shall try and come up with one.
And one more thing - Does this forum already have a slogan (aka the tagline)?

That would be great, thanks Realitybites.in. You can get Kay's graphic in this post. And Dahlia84 has also kindly agreed to create one.
Thanks again Dahlia84, I'd be very interested to see what logo you come up. I don't plan on using a slogan or tag line to be honest. My concern is that a slogan would give a first time visitor something else to remember and it might make them less likely to remember the domain name.

I read through all of the pages in this thread and didn't see any mention of RSS. The idea is to have RSS buttons at the bottom of each thread or each forum so that users can subscribe to the threads / forums that they are most interested in. I think that'd be another good way to get people "engaged" in the forum. If you are like me, you check your RSS feeds as one of the first tasks you do every day.
I'm sure that there must be a plugin to add this to vBulletin. Perhaps another member even has some experience with this?
Updated Logo:
I am working on the rest. Will update once I am done!
I hope i can follow the others to promote it.

Actually, it just hit me
Twitter contest..
These seem to attract tons of traffic, specially with the api searches now for money, and make money..
I suggest a couple of the next contests be held on twitter, that will provide massive traffic, at least doubled on the 3rd to 4th day.. specially as everyone will see answers in the replies stream, so the name of the account should be catchy and point out to the money prizes.
That's a matter of opinion. I think the current one's a better match for the site. That was nice of dahlia to make the effort though!![]()
(Btw dahlia, strategies is spelled incorrectly. It says startegies.)
Fergal, I followed you on Twitter yesterday with the Cuckleburr Times. Lots of people tend to click through to see who it is someone else is following so hopefully some will come here through that too.

well is simple and has no attraction, the main interface of the logo has no business looks, the logo doesn't appeal good in the looks. That's a matter of opinion. I think the current one's a better match for the site. That was nice of dahlia to make the effort though!
Thats my opinion!
you could host a trivia on twitter, a trivia about business related subject, as namecheap did, every couple of hours there is a questions, or every day, the interval of time is negotiable but we must take into consideration that this period should be divided to be long so that we can stay on the replies stream line as long as we can.
Also it must be that people know when it will start and that its not a one time thing and that if you lose now you can win tomorrow.
Remember the daily $7 competitions here? something like that on twitter, a trivia or a suggestion or anything, once the idea is approved we can think of contest terms, subject and timing.
