Exclamation Fast Growing Sports Website for Sale | 86k Page Views Per Month - Good Revenue!!

    Hey All,

I am wishing to sell one of my recent projects. Sportsnub.com is a fast growing sports blog which covers all the leading sports like Football, Cricket, Motorsports, Tennis, Boxing & much more! The site is just 5 months old and it has grown very rapidly recently.

Traffc:- To make it easy for all the buyers, I have placed Google Analytics screenshots below. If you still like to check in yourself before buying the site then hit me a PM and I will give you access to my Google Analytics account.

Mostly the site has got Organic traffic as all my posts are getting listed in the first page of SERPs. The newly posted article is indexed within 5 minutes of posting it. The major traffic of site comes from US & UK that is 40% of site traffic in total. Further more traffic comes from Canada, Australia & India. I have posted the screenshot below so you can check in better ways.

So, the new owner will need to monetize with there own ways. Sports niche is good so it will be very easy to get Sports Affiliates. I have attached past month revenue details below.

    Hi,

The reason they don't allow it is because they don't like the type of my content. They think my content violates there Hacking/Cracking policy.

    Thanks,

The bounce rate was around 80% before few days, but I had optimized on speed and was able to lower it down. It is still coming much down.

I thought bounce rate was an indication of visits to one page and leaving, I am wary of very high bounce rates, which yours is, because it can point to the use of traffic spamming software.
You also quote $760, this is an estimate, not a true figure, you can get those figures without actually investing in Google adsense, it will calculate it based on your traffic.
The majority of your traffic is from search engines, (80%), which could indicate that you have a lot of bots and spiders crawling your site, not actual people.
As for your SERPS claim, I tested these keywords :
    football
    soccer
    baseball
    hockey
    NFL
    Premier league
    Bundesliga
    la liga
    mls
    Ice hockey
    formula one
    horse racing
    rugby
I also entered "Manchester United" the most popular football club worldwide, again nothing in top 100, so I dispute your SERPS claim.
And you do not rank in the top 100 on Google, Bing, or Yahoo.
Your Alexa global rank is 217,214, however in India it is 25,994
Which is a little worrying that you come so high there, a lot less computers than most other countries in the world per head of capita, and as that is where you reside it suggests that you are the main visitor, from that country.
I was interest in buying this site, but not for $1200 dollars, it would take an awful long time to clean it out.
So in this case $1200 would seem an awful lot of money for a 5 month old site

    Hi Dorfy,

    Thanks for your queries.

Well, I haven't read anywhere where it says that if your sites bounce rate is high it will point to use of traffic spamming software. The high bounce rate indicates that users are having problem landing up onto your site. That's what I told earlier, it was speed issues and it seems to doing great now. I see the bounce rate always improving right now.

You also quote $760, this is an estimate, not a true figure, you can get those figures without actually investing in Google adsense, it will calculate it based on your traffic.
Those are my last month's earnings with Google Adsense. They are no way any kind of estimations. I have attached screenshots above.

The majority of your traffic is from search engines, (80%), which could indicate that you have a lot of bots and spiders crawling your site, not actual people.
The bot's and spiders comes into "Other traffic" in Google Analytics. And in the first post I have attached the screenshot of analytics.

As for your SERPS claim, I tested these keywords :
    football
    soccer
    baseball
    hockey
    NFL
    Premier league
    Bundesliga
    la liga
    mls
    Ice hockey

I don't get traffic by ranking into those keywords. As I have done proper SEO so my posts hit the first page of the SERPs and I get traffic using that. I have mentioned the same in the first post if you check it properly.

Your Alexa global rank is 217,214, however in India it is 25,994
Which is a little worrying that you come so high there, a lot less computers than most other countries in the world per head of capita, and as that is where you reside it suggests that you are the main visitor, from that country.
The Alexa rankings aren't the proper number to measure any sites traffic. If you check the Google Analytics screenshot above you will see that it shows 11k visits from UK & almost 10k visits from US. So, it easily proves that my major traffic is from those two countries. But, I just don't know why Alexa just show the number from India. That can be because I myself live in India.

I was interest in buying this site, but not for $1200 dollars, it would take an awful long time to clean it out.
So in this case $1200 would seem an awful lot of money for a 5 month old site
Sorry, but the amount of growth it has got and the revenue which has earned surely indicates that it is well-worth of $1200 at this moment and in future it would grow to a larger extent.

Please let me know if you have any other doubts or questions.

Please let me know which keywords the site is ranking on the first page for, those are keywords I chose, which I thought would point me to a general sports site/blog/forum. If it is a general sports site then it is not showing on Google, Yahoo or Bing for the most popular sports in the world, there was a reason why I chose those keywords.

This image says the earnings are estimated http://i.imgur.com/KcRTh.jpg.

Sorry I've just looked at the site, a delved a little deeper, I know English is not your natural language, but the English, and English grammar are awful, almost childlike, and it makes even more difficult to believe your claims.
The articles look as though they have been put through a spinner in an attempt to hide plagiarism, here is on example of many :

Thailand will be taking up on Saudi Arabia on the next game it will be surely very much interesting to see how this game goes on for them. They will surely look to do well in this important and it will be interesting to see how they does. Saudi Arabia on the other side will also be looking strong enough for this game and it will be interesting to see how this tight game goes on.
To an English speaking person, that paragraph and hence the whole site, would need completely re-writing.

In view of this and the other issues my top offer now would be $50, so I'm afraid "I'm out"

I've managed to get the list of keywords from Google Webmaster tools:-

They are just top 100 keywords out of 18,469 keywords.

Well, I had got the site reviewed here at BAF and almost almost everyone has said that content is good. So, I get no doubt on it.

Sorry, I won't consider that. I am already in talks with other buyers, and the deal seems to be going to finalize soon.

Hi Sahil. I'm interested in how much you sold the site for? That is, if you would like to share that.
