Microsoft is staying In China

I heard Steve Ballmer recently say that Microsoft are going to stick around in China for somemore time. Guess he didn’t want to go out like Google! He also took a shot at them saying the Google’s pulling out of China was more detrimental to both China and Google. In fact, Bing could be said to be profiting by this entire Google pulling out issue. It might gain about 25% of the Chinese Market by Google’ loss.

So what do you people think about this issue? Will this affect Google in the long run?

I think that was a good decision. With China's economy and post-Olympic popularity, I think Microsoft could benefit due to their stance in the world.

I don't think Google will be affected though. I know that the majority of the population live in rural areas and computer access (let alone Internet access) is very low, so the departure of Google won't have an all round detrimental affect.

China has a huge population and is emerging as a major global market. I applaud Google for sticking by their principles and pulling out, however I can also understand why Microsoft does not want to miss such a huge opportunity for their business.

China is one of the rapidly growing economy in the world
And in each and every part of the world,china is present.
SO if they are pulling out the google from china then definitly Microsoft will get the benefit from this oppertunity.
