Yesterday i was just searching articles on how to make money and i found out a nice article (i found it through hostbidder).
The article is on how you can make $500/month or more from your blog in just 6 months or less.
Since the article is not mine, i just found it on other blog, so i am giving the link to it.

Nice find, thanks for sharing. That article makes a lot of sense and I'll add a link to our useful resources sticky in this forum.

I'd say that the most important point in the article is that you should blog about a topic that interests you. You're likely to give up before the six months is up, if you're not interested in the subject.

I'd also suggest that you purchase a memorable dot com domain and some hosting if you can afford it.

Thanks for sharing this very useful article techsense. I think I'm also gonna try blogging and hopefully get $500 extra income per month too. :)

Choosing a niche is a very important step in this process. As already stated it is important to choose a subject matter that interests you, it is also worth considering the potential revenue you can earn from your chosen niche.

The method above focuses on Adsense as a source of revenue and some topics will give you a much higher pay out for every ad clicked on your blog, than others. You can find lots of high paying keyword lists (http://www.google.ie/search?hl=en&q=high+paying+keywords&btnG=Google+Search&meta=) on Google.

AH, when you write blog posts about certain topics, the Adsense ads that are displayed on your site will be related to those topics. The theory behind looking at high paying keywords is that if you blog about these topics, the revenue you earn from every click on one of your ads will be greater than if you blogged about lower paid keywords.

Excellent info but I would also like to know how to make that much money quickly from a static Web site, or does it apply to both in your opinion?

Rita, welcome to Business Advice Forum.

The theory could still apply to a static website. The main difference would be that instead of making 2 blog posts every day, you could age a page or two of useful content to your site every day. An important factor here, would be that you maintain a user-friendly, internal link structure on you site.

Welcome to the Business Advice Forum Rita.

Can you give us the link of your static website? I think that static websites should also be changed from time to time. You still have to introduce new content and improvements to your site, otherwise, people will get bored of your site and go visit another.
