I'm planning to give my mom a gift this coming Mother's Day. A surprise rather. She ask me to bring her on a movie but she doesn't even know or she have no idea that my gift is more than that. I always heard her telling to my dad that she want to remodel our house. So aside from taking her on a movie theater I will also in form her that I will provide the money for the remodeling the house. Hope she will be surprise an d happy as well. How about you guys, what are your gifts to your mom this coming Mother's Day? Kindly share it here.

That sounds like a great gift kleidmoore, it's very generous of you and I'm sure your Mum will be delighted. Mother's Day has already passed in Ireland. Myself and my family took my Mum out for a meal and bought her gifts, such as chocolates and flowers.

I'm sure your mom would be thrilled kleidmoore. My mum's in the UK and it's already been and gone. I sent flowers. It's not quite so easy to celebrate it when you're thousands of miles apart.
Can I make a suggestion? It may be wise to let your dad in on it too if you haven't already in case he has any objections. It would be a shame if it was spoiled because he didn't give it his blessing for whatever reason.

I hope that she will be happy, and i think she will.. I got a promotion so it's just right to share my blessings specially to my parents. I'm excited with the promotion as well as the gift that i will give to my mom.

Sorry to hear about your mom, but still you have a good heart, even though she's not here anymore you still find time to remember her :)
Anyway with regards to your suggestion, My dad can also do that but I also want to do it not only for my mom but also for my dad. After all the hard works for our family i think this is the time for me to give back something good to to them.

So I'm dying to know how it all went, kleidmoore! You're a good son thinking of your parents like that. It would take me another lifetime to repay everything mine did for me, but I try. :)
henderson791, the flowers are beautiful. I'm sorry for your loss. I sincerely believe that as long as we carry loved ones in our hearts and memories, they are never truly gone.

Thanks Kay. I'm just repaying or gratifying all the things that they do for me. I'm sure you can. :)
