I'm not a gamer but at first look your site looks great. The design is very professional and your ads are very well integrated. The navigation menus are very user-friendly and make it very easy to find what you are looking for on the site.
The "Mobile Games" page shows a big black square, when I visit it from my PC. Can it only be viewed from a mobile device?
The forum is very well integrated with your site and the colour scheme matches perfectly.
Overall the site looks great, good luck with it.

The Mobile page and games aren't added yet, the site is still in it's development stages. Though thanks for the review, any ideas on how to promote the site and get more members?

You're welcome James.
...any ideas on how to promote the site and get more members?
The best way to get answers to that would be to start a new thread in our Online Marketing, Advertising & SEO forum section (http://www.businessadviceforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=38).

I'm a casual gamer myself and I really like your site. The logo and overall theme is good and eye catching. It really makes your visitors gets interested to browse your site for a long time and play games.
Like Fergal says, when I click on the Mobile Games, it only shows a black screen. You may want to fix that. Or if possible, remove it first from the list until it is fixed.
My only suggestion is to enhance the Register and Log-In links above. Why not make a cool graphics for that?

Yeah, I will just opt out of the Mobile Games page, or put a "coming soon" thing on there. Like, I am currently adding PC Games and enhancing those pages as well as searches and stuff for PC Games.
Thanks for the feedback though and glad you like it. Free free to use it of course, I have over 700 Flash games and 35+ so far PC games for free to download. I will probably add some more cool graphics to the Register and Login text, I just changed that from what I had before, so that is just a default for now. If you find anything else I should change or take a look at, free free to let me know.

Have you got a section for games suitable to kids, e.g. those under ten?

I hope you could fill up some empty sections on your PC games since it really don't look balanced on the PC Games page if a certain genre/section haven't filled up yet.
I also suggest upload at least 3 games each empty sections first so that it will look balanced with the other sections.

I know, I am trying. It takes me a little bit longer to upload PC games than it does for the Flash games due to the fact I edit 1-2 of the images I get as well as other information. Plus, the provider doesn't provide Driving games and such, so it makes it a lot harder to find games for certain genres, which i probably will just opt out for now and fill in later.
Anything else that might need some work?

I guess it's the right move for now. Keep it up!
I'll be sure to suggest your site on my friends. :D

Thanks, I am trying, extremely hard. I am surprised I even have that many page views and uniques within the first month. My site's hardly ever take off sadly, like I try but nothing. Though, it is hard to keep working on it when I have client site's I need to finish and finals here are coming up for me (wonderful, only a week left of college). Though, I really do hope my site takes off soon.
If anyone has anymore feedback that is of course always welcomed, also, if you have any innovative ideas let me know! :)

Honestly, it's hard to take off a site when it's still new. Did you know my own blog gain frequent/returning visitors after half a year of hard work?
BTW, have you already contacted some owners of high traffic gaming sites for link exchanges?
JamesD31
Thu 29th Apr 2010, 17:31
High traffic gaming sites will probably not do any exchanges to be honest, but it is worth a go. If you know any that actually do I'd love to learn. Also, I took out the stuff that you said I should and fixed up the PC Games page a little to look it look more fuller. I still got to be able to sort by that, which I am thinking about how I want to design to look.
I know it will take a while for it to get off; though I honestly think once the website is "done" and I have this feature I am working on (hence why I am looking for an artist, but I have this girl back at home who will draw stuff for me) I know it will skyrocket hopefully.

Honestly, I don't know any gaming/flash game sites that can probably do link exchanges with you. But you can at least try.
Trying won't do any harm. :D

Agreed, though once I get out of school in a week, I will be home and working on the big feature that I have in mind. It will probably draw in a lot of people.

I'll be sure to post the update here sometime next week regarding the website update and the new feature online. It will require a lot of work, but I am a good programmer so it shouldn't be to bad.

I don't know if any of these are high traffic James but it's a place to start looking. You might know some of the names that I wouldn't. :) And I know it says dressup games but don't let that put you off. I visited some at random and they were a mix of games like yours.

Thanks for the reviews and feedback guys. The Mobile games page was just going to be another way of earning revenue - who doesn't like money, though that is near the bottom of my list now of things to do. @Kay, haha - yeah I can almost guarantee most of the games on my website to be at least somewhat fun, since I test each and every one of them. I have now over 800 Flash games online, so feel free to play more.
I am hoping to get the rating and commenting things up and running sometime soon.

So far I have only played the Tennis game... and still planning to play more.
I hope you could include Stark Tower Defense, It's a good and enjoyable game.

I always do get requests for games, I will try to add them though I have a provider for these games so they are all obtained legally. So, sadly I had looked and couldn't find it. If you could find a website that provide the final to be downloaded that could work as well.

I have found the game here: http://www.gamesplz.com/
I haven't checked if you can download Starks Tower defense here since one needs to be a member before they can access the page.
But there are free games here: http://www.gamesplz.com/free-games.html

Well I will see what I can do. There is a new question - for rating the games, which has been giving me problems lately but I hope to have done soon (as well as the commenting), would it be a smart idea to have it to where you need to be logged in to rate the game or that it is smarter to allow it based upon IP address?
Fergal
Sun 9th May 2010, 08:41
James you could start with allowing anybody to rate games, i.e. allow rating by IP address. Registration might be too much trouble for a lot of your visitors and it may reduce the number of ratings given on your site. Once your site has attracted a large following, you could consider the option of requiring people to register.

I suggest go with Fergal's suggestion.
I also want to add that you can put anonymous commenting but be sure to have SPAM filters like captcha to prevent spammers.

Understood, I would rather them sign up to post comments though, since I finally got it done coding for dealing with the members registered rather than anonymous. Also, i will allow people to post based off their IP addresses for now than switch it later.

3D graphic game? Isn't that not considered a flash game?
What you are looking for is a console game...

No, there are some intentsive Flash Games that are 3D - which they are on the site, you just would need to find them. Let me see if I can't dig one of them up really quick.
http://www.gamingallnight.com/play_game.php?id=831
That is kind of a 3D game. If we are talking about a full on 3D FPS game, I don't think I have one out yet. I am willing to add any/all games at which I can actually download the game - just feel free to show the URL of the game where I can download the game.
Also, thank you for the rating on the template. There are a few more bugs and fixes I am making to it including updating some graphics and such. Also, I am having a big major feature coming out soon once my best friend's sister has time to finish up the artist design work than I will finish it all up.

For for letting me know about that game. It seems to be exciting but the controls needs to get used to.
Anyways, have you took a look at the link I posted? Were you be able to download games there?

Honestly, I can't get into the game download page since it requires registration.
But if you can find some shooting or strategy game, that would be awesome.
