was drafting a mail to a potential client:
It was good to speak to your earlier today. Just a quick summary of what we discussed:
Service 1: ad-hoc invoice collections @ £5 per invoice.
All that is required is a copy of the invoice and any contact details you have for the customer. You can send the invoice at any time, It could be the day you raise it, the day it becomes due or up to a couple months after it becomes due for payment. You get to choose when you want to be invoiced! This can be weekly or monthly to suit your cash flow cycles. We act as YOUR collections department, i.e. we are your employee and work for your company and at all times your customers this is all your customers need to know. We use a seperate phone number when we call than the business number, so that if your customers phone us back the phone is answered either with “credit department” or just a name i.e. “Maria Speaking” if our Admin person picks up the phone. This means that our company name is not used at all when talking to your customers.
Service 2: invoice collections @ £40 per month.
The service is the same as you get above in the “ad-hoc” section with the exception being that it covers an unlimited number of invoice per month, i.e. if you wanted to give us all of your invoices as you raise them we take care of the rest. It is billed at the start of the month. There is no minimum contract, so if you pay £40 at the start of the month and send over 10 invoices we continue to chase those as they fall due for payment. If you know that the following month will be a slower month for raising invoices then you do not send the next £40 payment and your account reverts back to the ad-hoc service of £5 per invoice. It is simple and gives you full control over what your costs with us will be.

I was sharing this painting tool with a friend. I included a disclaimer that she wasn't to blame me if she didn't get anything done all day because of it! :) Check out the other experiments while you're there. I like the Fluid Painter as well. You can get some great effects with this one too. Just play around with the settings.
