May I know what kinds of softwares you're planning on selling DEADMAN? It would be good if you check first if the software you're planning to build has already been created. You can check open source sites or maybe you can also join as one of their developers so that you can also learn from them.
For me, I think I will go into selling in auction sites like ebay and yahoo auctions. I'm also planning on going to go into Forex trading.

Thank you for participating in the thread both Nazreen and DevilBatista.
Both of you have a nice concept for starting your own online business in the Internet. Auction for websites good be a good choice, but you need to be create enough to think up a wonderful sitename, and about Forex Trading I heard it's gambling; I'm not preety sure but if it is gamling don't involve too much. It may result in fraudness where bigger sites are turning into scam sites. And about DevilBastista PTP is actually a worthly one but you need to little conscious about it.
About me, I'm a coder. And Nazreen I've been joining bigger coders community since I was very young and I've developed chat softwares, timers softwares, and other essential softwares too.

I've also seen the emergence of a lot of proxy sites lately. These proxy sites offer anonymity when browsing the internet and also claim that you can browse all restricted sites from school and from the workplace. They also offer a way to cheat many websites that require unique IP per login id by creating a lot of login ids using different proxies.

I prefer freelance writing options on the net.. This is not a 'business' but a way of extra earning. No offence, but lets break the myth of proxy site/ PTP/ PTC... Porn sites are the quickest way to earn money online!

Yes, it's true that porn sites are really the quickest way to earn money online. Sex and porn are the two most searched for words in all search engines.
May I know how much you get for your freelance writing/ghostwriting works Advisor? It would also be good if you can share with us which websites you go to for your freelance works.

I was about to make a thread about how good the writers here are and how fit they will be for freelance writing. And yes, I have only started to search for freelance as a short-term free-time income option. The opportunity is huge as I see it and I presume I will start early.
I am not sure whether posting external links are allowed here, hence I would consider PMing with your permission..

Deadman - go for a Web Directory (like dmoz etc) and increase your PR to some 3 or 4 or 5. People will rush into your site for submitting their blog/sites. You can earn quite a decent amount from this.
B4dboy,
where did you host your proxy site? How much did it cost for you? If it can not be said here on the forum, please do PM me with the details. Thanks :)

It's okay for you to post external links here in the Business Advice Forum. You are not allowed to post links only when your post count is very low and just started. Also, as long as the links don't direct to anything that has sexual or adult content, then it should be okay Advisor.
And anyway, you're helping the rest of the community by providing links to other money-making opportunities in the net.

I'd love to start a network marketing business online. They are getting so popular now and I am hearing many success stories using Web sites, rather than the traditional methods, which are not working anymore for the most part.

Rita, do you have a particular product or service in mind?
Are you planning on joining an existing programme or setting up your own new one?

I am starting to earn as an affiliate marketer, not a lot, but a start. The potential is huge for making money through affiliate programs.
Doing freelance coding work and writing also interests me, but my coding needs to be a lot better than it is. Content writing can make you anywhere from a really dismal income to a really good one, depending on where you look for work and how unique and in demand your articles are.

My idea of my own online business is simple. Create sites, increase the traffic and sell it. Not so fabulous idea, but will definitely catch my attention. Increasing numbers of internet users also increases your opportunity to sell online.

I would soon be venturing into freelance writing. As Advisor pointed out, the prospect does look promising. There are sites like elance.com that are choc-a-bloc with freelance writing projects open for bidding. And the membership fee is nominal too, $ 10 I suppose, so start-up costs won't be much of a concern. The nominal membership fee does help in keeping away non-serious wannabes, those who only see the money coming in their fantasies and are not willing to go the extra mile for it. And the escrow provision is a good safeguard against frauds.
I would also be on the lookout for good affiliate products that I could be promoting, copywriting for the same, as I've noticed in many sales letters for products online, a good copy that hits the prospect's hot buttons (focuses on their needs and solutions to their problems), does increase the conversion rates substantially.

now that there are so many online business opportunity available ,i would suggest if it is something like reselling stuff or CPA leads or affiliates or even become an amazon reseller, however the homepage needs to be good and have steady targetted traffic, getting good seo is must, one can use onpage optimization software, and various content optimization software to optimize website content, WebSite Auditor (http://www.link-assistant.com/website-auditor/website-auditor-enterprise.html) is a good option . then do some viral marketing and get some adwords campaign running and the business should be up and running in no time!

I actually never started working online over the internet, because I'm new in all these stuffs (online gaining money and so). But, from what I noticed I would like first to make some money to start with by maybe making a blog site that is for sharing stuffs and so. And then use adsense. This might be a good start, but I heard that there are many people who never earned very much from this service, so if this didn't turn out to be good, then I may change it later on.

I personally don't plan to start any kind of online business however I help my friend in his online business. It is about Manufacturing Tools and Fixtures.
If you are in need of an idea to start a new online business then my suggestion would be see what CPA networks offers (like clickbank, neverblue, etc) and also check the need for it among online users using Trends.
The key to success is - Become an Affiliate for those products that are really high in demand

Isn't it against Google Adsense's TOS to use both?

What I plan to do some time when I get more free time is open up a graphics site. I wouldn't charge too much as I love designing and I don't like over charging people :)

I am looking forward top launch a article directory. Most of the article directories are using same template but I am doing the certification of web development to make my own template which will be totally different from all other sites with the new features. I have a sound knowledge of SEO so I will have no problem in promoting the site. That is my future plan and yeah I will earn through advertisments.
