Please Review my new Avatar

I have created an avatar to promote my blog.
What do you think of it?

Looks good GekiDan, it would make me curious and want to visit your blog. The name of your blog might be more obvious if the "e" was lower case, as in "JeFusion". It's easy to take a quick glance at your blog name and think that it is "JetFusion".

What about leaving a tiny space between the "E" and "F"? Or even use a slightly different font for the "JE"? I'm just floating ideas, perhaps I'm the only one that has any confusion with the domain and the avatar does look great.

Nice avatar to promote your blog. If the e was lowercase it would look better but it looks good enough as it is if you want to keep it that way.

Also your previous avatar is my favourite on this forum. You look cute but anyways nice avatar.

hey GekiDan. you did good job i think the text format you use for display your name. slitly may need changes in it. becuase the format you use is not looking professional for promotion prospective. Try some different text formate.

Cant enlarge the avatar to see the background. However, by visiting your site, i found that it is more attracting than your avatar. Since your niche is japanese entertainment, and i found you are posting a great anime on your website, and why dont you change your background to more colourful anime, just as what you did on your site, it will be much attracted.

My only problem is that a 100x100 avatar only have a limited space to work on...

I have been through many threads here at BAF, and I must honestly say that I haven't ever read the text when the new avatar was up.

But now since I have, its great you have the .com as that is a great promotion boost. I would remove the .com as .com is default by most browsers.

I would have placed Japanese, Entertainment and Blog on 3 different lines as the text is starting to become a little small to read.

I probably would try to keep the background simple, as I don't really know what it is in the background.

Overall, there is something you can work on. Try to keep things interesting, but not too sophisticated and not too simple. The design definitely has positive factors with colors working with each other, and colors that you can distinguish from another. Title is clear and concise, so thats a plus.

Some decent ones I have found on DP are:
- http://i47.tinypic.com/otf21k.gif (though the text is a little hard to see, but design is great)
- http://i49.tinypic.com/ngvdqo.png (simple, yet to the point)

the avatar looks good...make the background less likely plain...so the rest of the texts will float well.
