Just another question: What if a member have two Twitter accounts, can s/he use that at the same week?

Good question! I'll allow it for the moment, but if I feel it is being abused, I'll change it to one account per member.

wow, I was figuring out since yesterday (before posting my twitter link on the contest's thread) on how to do it that way but I just failed. It was perfectly elaborated and now I know.

Thanks for sharing, very nice lay-out/presentation you have there, p2pool. Keep it up :-)

Cheers,
Gerry

Thanks for letting me know.
Honestly, even though I have more Twiiter accounts, I won't do that. I kinda consider that cheating.

Just a quick question:
What if the member who entered the contest doesn't even participate in the forums?

Just a quick question:
What if the member who entered the contest doesn't even participate in the forums?

It think it would be better to pull out of the contest who's not active in the forum anymore when the contest in running to be fair with everyone. Just my guess.

That's also what I thought. I recently saw a member who just post in the contest thread and is not contributing in the forum. But I will left the decision to Fergal since he is the one running the contest.

Thanks for your questions GekiDan and Narci. The objective of this contest was to help promote Business Advice Forum via Twitter. Hence, it's not necessary that entrants participate and post on our business forum. Obviously it would be great if they did, but we did not make it a requirement for this contest. Future contests will require more active participation.

Do we need a Twitter account in order to enter??

Fergal
Sat 24th Jul 2010, 08:28
Thanks for your question LA Electrician, yes you do need to be on Twitter to enter the contest. But it's really easy to join Twitter and once you do all you need to do is post the required tweet and then reply to the contest thread, to get an entry.
