The advertising rules on Business Advice Forum have been updated today, for the benefit of all our members. These rules will be strictly enforced from today on. Please read the rules relevant to the section where you are posting your ad, before you post that ad.

The main changes area as follows;



Once you post an ad for a product or service you may not post another ad for that product or service, within the same calendar month
You may bump your ad if it has not received a reply for 48 hours. However, you must make at least one other quality post on our other forums on the day you bump your ad. Please make this post, before you bump your ad.


The rules for posting articles on Business Advice Forum have been updated as follows;
You may post a maximum of one article per day on Business Advice Forum and you must make at least one other helpful post, on the day you post your article

Please reply with any questions or feedback you have on these rules and we urge all members to report http://www.businessadviceforum.com/simpleblue/buttons/report.gif any ad or article that does not comply with these rules.

Good new changes, i do think the previous 24 hour bump rule was a little much.

Will be sure to follow these now. :)

Why do you think it's "a little much"?
I think it's just fine as long as you are abiding by the rules.

I still think that 48 Hours is also more. It should be like, when a thread passes to 2nd or 3rd or at least 1st page then and only then a user can bump it. If, any member bump's the thread before that then we would give he/she a infraction.

tbh, never bumped a thread and never would, if it is something someone wants they will comment and it stays up the page, if not it disappears, thats life.

Same here, I don't like bumping threads. If someone wants then they will write on it, or else, it is fine.

Thanks for your opinions and suggestions. We will keep an eye on ad bumping. If it's not working out we will make appropriate changes.
