There is another tip that I would like to share with you guys. It's called Time is your enemy. Don't be too lazy and leave that job that you have to do to the next day. As it's said " Tomorrow never comes". Do everything early. One day could be a difference from you getting rich. You surely don't want to miss any opportunity so take that opportunity as early as possible. And I am telling you that if you do a thing early, it would be worth it. Here's an example. If you are having an exam a test after a week. Then don't sit back and relax and wait for the last day. You should learn for your exam from the day you came to know about it. If you don't do that then you will surely fail.
I hope that it's useful.:p

This is actually the same as Microsoft's Bill Gates' Book - Business at the speed of thought. If you have a great idea or opportunity, better act on it and fast before anyone else does. Time is of the essence.
Thanks for sharing this one more tip Footzilla.

Every successful business man cares about the time alot. They won't waste their time on doing silly things. Do you have this book Nazreen? Have you read it? I would love to read this book.

Yes Footzilla, I have this book with me but I only borrowed it from our Singapore National Library. Haven't gotten to reading it yet because I'm concentrating on learning HTML and Dreamweaver.

I've my exams next week too. But I'm surfing internet and learning too.
I agree everybody should be with time and not so forward and not so late, but in fixed time.
When you eat your rice when you just wake up then? Doesn't make a good sense. :)
But I agree we should walk with time, a little faster is appreciated.

...When you eat your rice when you just wake up then?
It's not that you eat your rice (or breakfast) immediately after you wake up. It means that you don't delay because time is the enemy. If you had planned to eat your breakfast at 7am in order to make it to your 9am class, then do not delay. If you delay and probably watch tv or play your PS3, then you will definitely be late for school.

Yes, Time is great. If you work on time then you will be sucessful. Sometimes your work may be done after the time has also gone but it's due to your luck and don't depend in your luck because Luck may not always favour you. If you work or learn on time but don't get success. Then it's because of you not working and learning properly. It's not about time but doing things correctly on time before being late. However, Time never waits for anyone. So you should move with time. If it's the right time to do something, then just don't wait, just do it.

It's not always the case about your luck. You should never consider yourself lucky. Sometimes luck gives off. So it is better that you do the thing before so that you don't have to rely on your luck. And plus you will have no tension about that work anymore. If you leave that work to the last day, then your head will blow up with tension.

Taking action is what gets results. Reading books is good for you, provided you read good books of course, but reading alone will not get you results or bring success. You need to set a goal, do something, evaluate if the action brought you closer to your goal and then take action again.
Footzilla makes a great point, leaving things to the last minute can increase our stress levels which reduces our effectiveness and generally results in the task not being done properly, not being done at all or taking much longer than it should.

moonlight, no one is a hopeless case. The first thing you need to do to get you out of this slump is to change your beliefs.
About changing your beliefs, read this post (http://www.businessadviceforum.com/showthread.php?p=2820#post2820) and this post (http://www.businessadviceforum.com/showthread.php?p=2940#post2940) too.
After you decide to make a change in your beliefs, then it's time to take action as Fergal has advised. You must set a goal for yourself and focus on accomplishing it.

Moonlight you are just giving up like you are not a man!
Be a man and don't give up. You just accepted the fact that you are a person who doesn't want to be successful. As Fergal and Nazreen said, set up a goal for yourself and be focused. I am only 14 right now and I am still earning some money online because I don't accept the fact that I am too small to be earning money. You just have to get one thing in your mind that you are not lazy and then see the change.

Moonlight you might find it helpful to act as if. The next time you feel demotivated ask yourself how you would act if you were really motivated, then tell yourself to act as if you are really motivated and keen to get the job done. This tactic can be really helpful in many situations.

I would also suggest reading the motivation tips thread (http://www.businessadviceforum.com/showthread.php?t=764&highlight=motivation) started by Fergal.
Another source of motivation for me are real life people. You don't have to look far, they're all around us. The best examples are athletes, they train everyday, 8 or more hours a day in their particular sport. Let's say you like basketball, then you can have Kobe as your source of motivation. If you like tennis then you can have Roger Federer as your inspiration.
These top athletes came to be where they are right now because of their remaining focused, hard work and determination, no matter what the odds are.

One thing I can say is, just Don't Kill your time. If you're a Businessman probably you should sort out your works writing them in diaries or short piece of papers so that you won't forget them to do; as I've been mentioning this many times. Adding appropriate time to do which thing on which time is the best measure so that you can utilize the best use of time in proper way.

That is a very good tip.
Usually if your a webmaster, you tend to spend most of your time all day on the Internet. You get lazy and keep saying I will do it tommorow. In the end you need to work your ass off to get where you are meant to be.
This is what I have found for myself.
